Author's Note: Gah, my first ever You/Norrie for my loffly Ellie! *smooch* God, I really think I cannot handle Norrington nor real ladies as the you-character; give me Jack and pirates and other scallywags and I do fine, but this was a bit tougher. But I'm still quite satisfied with it, despite the occasional OOC Norrie (especially in the end). I hope you still like at least some of this, Ellie! :) Sorry that I decided the last name of the you-character myself after all, but I wanted to get it posted. (And sorry about the possible slips in tense, I tried to write this in past, but an occasional present tense might have slipped in. It's a habit for me.)

Well, writing is for once going fine. At least with NQG, as I've gotten my inspiration back with that one. It has been missing a little lately, mainly just with this one chapter, not the entire story. I'm feeling positive about it, I think I'll get a new chapter done by the weekend.

Right. Anywhere The Wind Blows and Flipsides unfortunately have not progressed anywhere. I haven't had that much time to write, and what little I have had, I've spent on writing NQG. Fog Bound is also in the works, I've started chapter 2. GAH. I should have known I would not get the challenge fic written in time. By now it's already horribly belated, as Halloween is long gone. But I'm going to finish it, anyway. Hopefully I'll get chapter 2 written soon, as well.

But when an old fable takes form and begins living a life of its own on All Hallows Eve, the darkening evening soon turns into one of the longest and scariest nights you’ve ever experienced. Set Post-CotC, but Pre-NQG.

At-choo! *sniff* It seems like every time I update this journal, I'm sick in some way or the other. Now I have a bit of a flu again and hence have stayed at home today. Ah well, onward! I have two fics in the works right about now, NQG and the Halloween fic for the OM's challenge, titled Fog Bound. Yes, I nicked it from the soundtrack 'cause I was unable to come up with anything else, but it works well for the fic. Because I'm an utter fool with an apparent deathwish, I torment you dears with small snippets from each stories and a bit more info about FB in general...

Guh. Damn flus. *snifflesneezegurgle* Anyway!
I know I haven't updated anything in ages, I'm so sorry. I just have had insanely little time to write lately and on top of that, I've had a weird block with NQG. But enough about that. I've put all other fics to the side now until I can get No Quarter Given updated, because that's likely what people except the most out of my fics. I'm trying hard to get Chapter 37 done by Friday when I update OM, I have about five pages now. Two more scenes left to go after the one I have in the works now, I'm thinking it will be a longish chapter. Anyways, here's a little preview on the chapter.

-Is coming along slowly but surely. I've been having a block with this, and with having been so busy in the real life, I haven't had much time to write lately. But I'm hoping, very much hoping, to get a new chapter up during the weekend.
